Each performance by Mariachi Las Alteñas is customizable to your audience and can include educational portions, meet & greets, and more. As experienced educators, Las Alteñas has successfully delivered mariachi workshops detailing the history of mariachi music, presentations about the dynamic between instruments in a mariachi ensemble, and the impact of women in the male-dominated genre of mariachi.

The sound of women in mariachi knows no limits! Mariachi Las Alteñas has traveled coast-to-coast with instruments and trajes in tow, performing for brands such as Don Julio Tequila, Adam Levine’s Calirosa Tequila, LULAC, Ballroom Marfa, and more.

Over the years, Las Alteñas has also headlined performances for festivals such as Mariachi USA, South by Southwest (SXSW), Festival International de Louisiane, the The Mariachi Festival & Fiesta Anual de Santa Cecilia, and WHSF Mexican Fiesta!

Las Alteñas is also a proud artist on the Texas Commission on the Arts 2024-2026 Touring Roster. This prestigious recognition means the group is among some of the best artistic talents in Texas, ready to bring their vibrant performances to communities across the state. The Texas Touring Roster ensures that all Texans can enjoy high-quality artistic events, and with the support of TCA grants, local schools, libraries, theaters, and other nonprofits can help bring them to your town!
